Carbon Coating Kit

This stuff feels amazing and provides a very low friction finish. The problem is that it didn't take very long for the coat to wear away, and I even had some rust appear where I had left parts clamping on the table saw surface for a few days. Would not recommend. Renaissance - Micro Crystalline is a superior product, will provide far more mileage for the cost (many times more as I use 1/100th, or 2ml, of a container for the table saw top whereas the Carbon Method requires 1/4 of the bottle)

I bought the double pack for 2~4 machines. The rpoduct seems to be working so far. I will confess that I have not yet tested the new surface or the Carbon Glide. But 2~3 weeks after sealing the top, no rust!!! I recall BoeShield in a Texas Coast environment FAILED on the first day of aplication on a brand new table saw. I would suggest that the Carbon Cleanse size be enlarged a bit. Mine still has two surfaces to prep and I have about 1/3 of a bottle left. Yes I used as directed.

Excellent product. I have struggled with keeping my Iron in good shape. I have tried other products but this one tops them all. I applied it to my new Industrial Saw Stop and wow. What a difference. So I just ordered more to put it on My lathe, 20 planer, Jointer, Band saw and router table. Thanks Carbon Method.

Beautiful results

Applied easily, took some time to prep tools. Applied coating to cabinet table saw, 15 inch planer, small table top jointer, bandsaw and oscillating sander. Had enough product for 3 coats on each. Glide coat made surfaces very slick.

This product was so awesome!. I live in very humid Texas and am constantly fighting woodworking equipment rust. The process was very clear and I am totally pleased with the results. I don't plan to ever use anything else in my shop and am already telling my fellow woodworkers about the products.

Watched the video and read the instructions. Everything went well and I had enough Carbon Coat to put four coats on 3 large cast iron surfaces. Will allow to fully cure before using Carbon Glide. Lots of Carbon Cleanse left for further applications. Surfaces now look as good as new and I’m looking forward to only needing periodic maintenance to keep them looking great. Thanks CM!

Excellent product. My table saw looks like new, and the glide brings it to a new level of slickness. I am preparing to use it on my jointer next.

So far seems to be working but only time will tell. Very frustrated because I was only able to coat my saw 2-1/2 times when it calls for 3 or 4 coats. Win some , lose some.

So far I really like this system for my sawstop. The instructions are very easy and everything is sent in the kit you will need. The table is clean and slick. It feels very protected. I would suggest this product to anyone looking for a good solution to protect their investment.
