Carbon Glide is a friction reducer for cast iron tools that replaces hours spent waxing - and is better than wax in several key ways. First, it's even slicker than wax, because Carbon Glide forms a molecule-thin layer of graphene-enhanced protection that's far more flat and smooth than wax could be. It also doesn't melt under the high temperatures your tool is constantly subjected to. Because it's so slick, it doesn't collect dust and other contaminants that would otherwise increase friction.

While Carbon Glide works great on any tool, you should only use it over "Carbon Coat" graphene protection for metal. Use of Carbon Glide on surfaces not protected by Carbon Coat can lead to increased corrosion, while use on Carbon Coated surfaces will get you next-level performance and protection!

Carbon Method Carbon Glide

I just finished coating all of my shop tools with this product. So far the results are more than I thought I'd get. The surfaces are very slick. I'm anxious to see how this lasts over time.

I’m extremely excited about the results from using the carbon method for the first time! I’m encouraged after use with my last project. The wood slid perfectly across the table and through the saw. I will add carbon slide once a month to keep up the performance level high

I use Carbon Glide on a semi-regular basis. It is easy to apply, I use it on my table saw, band saw and planer.

Excellent product, maintains a smooth slick table saw

I use Carbon Glide on a semi-regular basis, why? because it works. So easy to apply, no hassle and will make your treated table saw even smoother and slicker than with carbon coat alone. The two products compliment each other, but the carbon glide is a simple spray it on, wait a minute or two and wipe and buff. I like it so much that I ordered another kit. Excellent product.

After watching Bents wood working YouTube on how to apply Carbon Methods I decided to take the plunge. I applied the Carbon Coat and Carbon Glide to my table saw, band saw and my jointer. All of them look and feel great. But, I have to admit the thing that surprised me the most was how much easier it was too slide the lumber over my jointer once I applied Carbon Glide. I am not sure if it was just an unnoticeable accumulation of pitch has grown on my jointer. But after applying Carbon Glide the lumber now just "glides." Put a huge smile on my face, and I highly recommend Carbon Methods products.
