Your cast iron tool can build up a lot of contaminants, leading to scratches and corrosion. Whether you're just giving it a solid cleaning, or preparing to apply "Carbon Coat" graphene protection for metal, use Carbon Cleanse to remove the residue of solvents, oils, waxes, silicone, polymers, sap, tar, and other possible contaminants from your cast iron tool - getting it right down to bare metal!

Carbon Cleanse

Carbon Cleanse is the absolute best way to start your pre coating process. End results ALWAYS shine best with proper prep work and Carbon Cleanse does just that. Your cast iron is now at its best ready for Carbon Coat. I highly recommend starting out with Carbon Cleanse. Take the time and do it right.The end results are stunning.

It's all about the prep, and the cleanse is essential. What I do is first hit the cast iron top with WD-40 to and a red pad get the grime off the tool. Then the Reconditioning Oil with a finer pad. (Grey or white) Then the carbon cleanse once or twice. It does remove the any oils and residue left from cleaning the cast iron. Get a good coating of the carbon coat afterwards.

I cleaned my tops using a two step process, first I did a complete cleaning using mineral spirits, second I followed up with Carbon Clean. Being a first time user of Carbon Clean I wanted to make sure I followed their recommended process.

Fantastic Performance

This product does an incredible job of cleaning up the surface of cast iron. Amazing the amount of "stuff" that gets pulled out from eqpt tables and tools (e.g., plane bodies, etc.) Glad to use it before treating the items

i cleaned my table saw with every thing i could find, then i used the cleaner and it made a big difference. i thought it was clean, now it is after carbon clean.

best cleaner , buy the big bottle, i driopped the small one , glass breaks.

This product did an amazing job in cleaning the surface of my table saw. The cast iron top had not looked this good even when I first purchased the saw.
