The purchase of the kit, to me, was worth the price as I didn't have to go shopping for the different pads and the oil.

I tried using WD40 as seen in some online videos, as Dan advised me the low viscosity did seem to get messy. The CM oil worked great.

This product hands down blows wd40 away. In combination with carbon cleanse I don’t see how you could get equipment cleaner grease free and ready for this system……. It just works.

I had several cast iron tops that were neglected and needed serious rehab. I used the allotment of mesh pads provided in the kit and added many of my own as well. This may be enough for an already good surface. The reconditioning oil goes a long way. My surfaces look as good as new now. Thanks CM!
