Carbon Coating Kit

I was skeptical of the product with the claims of just how good it is. But... after following the directions to the letter, and taking the time to apply in in the manner outlined, it really is a well designed product, that protects for me what is the single most expensive and important machine in my small shop, the table saw. I ordered the pads to prepare the surface and get down to bare metal, they worked very well. Does it take time to apply the product? Yes. Is it worth the time and energy to apply? Definitely. I'm a very small shop that appreciates good tools, Carbon Method is a "good tool". I would highly recommend it.

Incredible product. for years I've applied wax to my cast iron tools. Strip and repeat. I saw your product on a youtube product about a year ago and thought it was too good to be true. I waited, kept my eye out for reviews and finally pulled the trigger. I stripped down all of the tops in my shop and applied Carbon Method. Extremely pleased with the reduced friction on the tops. I use most of my tools daily and so far they are as slick as day one. I would love to give a 6 month and an annual review as well. At this point you have a lifetime customer and I've told all of my asssociates of your product. Will be trying the ceramic coating in the near future on a secretary reproduction i'm building With high expectations. Thank you.

I absolutely love the Carbon Method products. The system works extremely well. It is a bit pricey but it works well. I only have to recoat once a year so it makes the price worth it. With other products that I have tried I had to recoat my equipment about three or four times a year and it still did not work as well as Carbon Coat. I am very happy to write this review. I used the kit on my Harvey table saw which I have had for more than a year. Carbon Method Quick kit worked amazing cleaning and coating! I followed the instructions and video when applying they are clear and easy to follow. I am impressed with the way work pieces now glide along the table. Looking forward to coating band saw, jointer and thickness planer?

Unbelievable results! If you follow the instructions and take your time with this product the results are phenomenal! My table saw is like a new machine.

I first cleaned my table saw top using a maroon abrasive pad and WD-40. Once I wiped it clean with mineral spirits, I followed the steps for Carbon Cleanse, Carbon Coat and Carbon Glide. My table saw looked great - but I was absolutely blown away by how easily the wood moved across the cast iron top. I have thrown out all of the other products I have used for years. Carbon Method exceeded my wildest expectations!

This made the tables on all my tools slick and works better than anything i have used, now just to see how long it last but very satisfied so far.

Although I plan to use the carbon coating quick kit on a band saw and a jointer that have cast iron tables, my first use of the kit has been on a Dewalt table saw with a coated aluminum table and on several hand planes. I was not concerned with rust but with making the table saw and the planes slippery. I have not been at all happy with using different variants of wax and other products, and so I thought I would give this a try. The application process, with several iterations of cleaning and then coating, is somewhat tedious, but there is no arguing with the results--damned slippery. I was so pleased that I ordered additional bottles of the Carbon Coat.
