It’s Dan, back with another Pro Tip Tuesday from Carbon Method!
In our instructions, it says that you need to use a new Coating Cloth for every layer of Carbon Coat – but actually, if you keep the Coating Cloth wet from use, you don't have to change to a new one.
To get the most life from our Carbon Coating Kit, prep all your tools first and then coat them all in a cycle. So you would apply the first layer on the first tool, then go to the next tool and so on all while using the same Coating Cloth.
As you cycle back around to that first tool, if the Coating Cloth is still wet with Carbon Coat, you can keep using that Coating Cloth – so it is entirely possible to put 4 to 6 layers on all your tools with a single Coating Cloth!
So: if it stays wet, you're all set.
