It’s Dan, back with another Pro Tip Tuesday from Carbon Method!
Let’s talk about buffing out Carbon Coat.
When you go to buff off a layer of Carbon Coat, there should be some resistance, it shouldn’t be difficult to buff off, but it should require some effort. If it buffs out too easily, let it cure for a little bit longer.
I like to buff small test spots until I get the resistance I am looking for. Once I feel it I will buff into those test spots to make sure my coverage is even. Buffing too early will leave thinner layers, resulting in a less effective coating overall.
Remember: not too quick and not too thick, the right amount will keep it slick.
